Sebastian Eilert named AIA Miami - Sustainable Design Architect of the Year 2011
At the wonderful 57th Annual Design Awards & Installation gala of the AIA Miami, held Saturday night at the amazing Gleason Theatre in Downtown Miami, many deserving Architects and design related professionals were recognized.
The Silver medal was presented to John R. Forbes, AIA; the People's Choice was awarded to Jenifer Briley (who also received the Excellence in Architecture and Sustainable Building awards) and the Sustainable Design Architect Award was given to your truly, Sebastian Eilert, AIA of Sebastian Eilert Architecture.
It is a great honor to be recognized by my fellow practitioners in these challenging times for the efforts put forth to make South Florida more sustainable, one project at a time...
